Lent, Day 37: God is good... All the time!

So, I usually read the Word before bed, but the past couple of nights I’ve been extra tired and skipped that part of my routine. When I did this last night I knew it was the wrong thing to pass over, I knew He wanted to speak to me, but I didn’t even last long enough to pray – I was out like a light! However, God is good, ALL the time!! He wanted to speak to me through His Word and today as I skimmed my Facebook newsfeed I came across these three verses among my friend's updates and they touched my heart as they reminded me of His faithful, loving heart for me! I am so grateful to have such an awesome God whose Word is so alive!!

Yet I still dare to hope when I remember this: The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. - Lamentations 3:21-23 (NLT)
